Lima dari sembilan klub dengan pengeluaran gaji terbesar berasal dari Premier League, termasuk Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, dan Chelsea.
Namun, puncak daftar ini ditempati oleh Real Madrid, yang menghabiskan Rp4,6 triliun per tahun untuk gaji pemain mereka. Klub raksasa Spanyol ini telah meningkatkan pengeluaran gaji setelah mendatangkan Kylian Mbappé secara gratis. Dengan statusnya sebagai pemenang Piala Dunia, tak heran jika ia mendapatkan bayaran tinggi.
Selain Mbappé, pemain seperti David Alaba, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois, dan Antonio Rüdiger juga menerima gaji besar.
Di sisi lain, Bayer Leverkusen, juara Bundesliga, hanya berada di peringkat ke-26, dengan pengeluaran gaji yang lebih kecil dibandingkan Everton, Crystal Palace, dan Leicester City yang baru promosi ke Premier League.
Sementara itu, Borussia Dortmund berada di peringkat ke-15, tepat di antara Juventus dan Newcastle United, dengan pengeluaran sekitar Rp1,9 triliun per tahun.
Barcelona, yang masih berjuang dengan masalah keuangan, mengeluarkan sekitar €80 juta lebih sedikit dibandingkan Real Madrid, tetapi masih lebih tinggi dibandingkan Liverpool, Inter Milan, dan Atletico Madrid.
Dua klub Manchester masih berada di daftar teratas, dengan Manchester City menghabiskan Rp4,16 triliun per tahun, sementara Manchester United berada di angka Rp3,73 triliun.
Ipswich Town, yang baru promosi ke Premier League, memiliki gaji terendah di liga dengan Rp706 miliar per tahun, namun angka ini masih lebih tinggi dibandingkan hampir setengah klub di lima liga top Eropa. Ipswich bahkan menghabiskan empat kali lebih banyak dibandingkan klub Ligue 1, Le Havre.
